I have been listening to this song every morning since I first heard it a few weeks ago. It always puts me in a good mood, and it’s fun and danceable, too!

Starting off with the intention to have a good day is the best way to ensure that you do. I have seen it enough now in my own life that I no longer doubt that I alone control what my experience of life will be. It’s also become clear to me that I’d rather be enjoying life than not — it’s just nicer that way. Sure, there will be times of pain and conflict and things that don’t go the way I wish, but I focus my attention on the blessings I have and what I want to make of each day, and then that is what defines my life.

What are some of your favorite morning routines for starting the day off on the right foot? Do you also have ways to reset in the course of the day if it gets off track?
